July 14, 2021

On July 14-15, on the initiative of UNAIDS, with the participation of the KSCDIZ of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional online seminars are held to discuss the issues of compulsory health insurance and GOMB for medical workers of city and regional AIDS centers and nongovernmental organizations working with key populations.

As you know, on January 1, 2020, the system of compulsory social health insurance (OSHI) came into effect in Kazakhstan. In connection with the introduction of compulsory health insurance and GOMP, many representatives of key population groups have difficulties in accessing medical services. Often, CTGs have problems due to the lack of personalized data. Most people living with HIV do not have the opportunity to pay a monthly fee to the compulsory health insurance system due to disability for health reasons. In this regard, representatives of key groups have many questions, to which speakers provide answers at the seminars - I. Podskochaya, head of the Department, National FOSMS and S. Biryukov, head of the public fund "AGEP`C".To get answers to all questions from participants, online seminars are organized in three regions of the country, taking into account geographical distribution.
